Elle Drafting ("Provider") offers Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and general drafting support. Provider is not a licensed Architect or Engineer. Services provided do not constitute the practice of architecture or engineering. Provider does not stamp, seal, or certify drawings for construction or permitting.
The Client acknowledges that they are the professional of record. It is the sole responsibility of the Client (Architect, Engineer, or Contractor) to review, verify, and approve all work produced by Elle Drafting for accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
Elle Drafting assumes no liability for errors, omissions, or construction issues resulting from the use of our drawings. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Elle Drafting from any claims arising from the use of these documents.
Upon full payment of fees, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use the deliverables for the specific project identified. Elle Drafting retains the right to use anonymized portions of the work (details, families, renderings) for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed.
Hourly Projects: Invoices are issued bi-weekly. Payment is due upon receipt (Net 0) or Net 15 as agreed in the proposal.
Fixed Fee Projects: A 50% deposit is required to commence work, with the remaining balance due prior to the release of final files.
Fixed fee proposals include two (2) rounds of minor revisions. Changes to the design scope, structural layout, or project program after drafting has commenced will be billed as additional services at the standard hourly rate.
In no event shall Elle Drafting's aggregate liability arising out of or related to this agreement exceed the total amount paid by the Client to Elle Drafting for the services giving rise to the claim.
